Branding and Communication – To raise our profile and communicate more effectively with Chapter members and other stakeholders including government bodies and affiliated organisations, ASBA undertook a Branding Review in 2010.
Developing and adopting a new brand identity has included our new-look website. A key source of information, networking and collegial support, it includes on-line toolkits including handbooks, induction packs and on-line membership and a members' Bulletin Board.
A communication plan and key messages are also being developed and implemented.
Professional Development – To provide relevant Professional Development to all members, regardless of their size or geographical location, ASBA is developing strategic partnerships with training providers.
Our other initiatives include profiling professional development initiatives of individual chapters and providing speaker contact details on our website.
Member Survey – To find out what chapters and members want from ASBA and to ensure we met your needs, we are planning to do a Member Survey after July 2011. Read the results of our initial survey of Victoria ASBA members in isb Magazine
Governance – To ensure sound corporate governance and compliance with relevant legislation, ASBA has developed a Register of legislation and provided directors, chapters and members with guidelines on their legal responsibilities and duties.
