President's Message

Welcome to the Association of School Business Administrators (Qld) Inc (ASBAQ) website.

ASBAQ is a friendly and vibrant Association of over 200 members employed in non-government schools throughout Queensland.  Our primary purpose is the personal and professional development of our members, the majority of whom are working in financial and business administration roles in their schools.

During the year we convene regular regional group meetings and general meetings.  On general meeting days, we also conduct Professional Development sessions where we engage guest speakers to present topics relevant to our members.  Every two years the Association’s Australasian body, ASBA Ltd., holds a conference while each other year, ASBAQ holds a State Conference to provide extensive professional development and to promote networking opportunities among colleagues.  With the invaluable assistance of our sponsors, these conferences have proven to be very popular indeed with our members who enjoy the experience while increasing their knowledge and sharpening their skills.
