President's Message

From The President, ASBA (SA & NT)

Welcome to the Association of School Business Administrators South Australian and Northern Territory Chapter.

The main aim of ASBA (SA & NT) is to provide professional development and networking opportunities for Business Managers and Accountants in the South Australian and Northern Territorian Non Government Schools sector. Currently we have approximately 120 members working in Independent (including Lutheran) and Catholic schools.

With the invaluable support of our sponsors, four professional development seminars and/or conferences are available to members each year. Every second year, ASBA (SA & NT) members are encouraged to attend the Australasian ASBA Conference, hosted on a rotating basis by the states of Australia and New Zealand. Each alternate year, ASBA (SA & NT) organises a residential conference on topical issues for its members.

Membership attaches to the individual, and not the school they work for. Accordingly, if you have recently joined a school in the role of Business Manager or Accountant, you are warmly encouraged to apply for membership by completing and forwarding the membership application form on this website. I acknowledge the support of the ASBA (SA & NT) Chapter Committee, who willingly volunteer to guide the Association to achieve its mission, whilst the administration of the chapter is supported by an Executive Assistant. Any of the Committee can be contacted to assist with member or membership enquiries.
