President's Message

Welcome to the Association of School Business Administrators (Tasmania) Inc website. This website is updated regularly and I encourage you to access it as and when you wish.

The Tasmanian Association's major focus is to provide professional development for bursars and business managers and other senior non-academic staff in the Independent Schools sector in Tasmania.

The association usually schedules three professional development day seminars each year.

In addition, the Association provides a network of people in similar roles at their own schools. The meetings provide the opportunity for group discussion and an exchange of information on matters of mutual interest and to enhance the objective of promotion and advancement of education in Tasmania. All members may attend any meeting.

Committee members may be contacted to assist with any queries from all members of the Association. The collegiality and contact with the committee and Association members, all of whom have similar professional interests, is a comforting support.

Work goes on behind the scenes so that members can derive benefit from the Association and its activities. I acknowledge and sincerely express my appreciation to all members for their continued commitment and assistance.
