Chairman's Message

Greetings,

Welcome to this official website of the Association of School Business Administrators (ASBA) Ltd, Australasia’s leading organisation for school business management in non-government schools.

ASBA Ltd aims to promote the advancement of education through the provision of improved professional development and standards of business management in our schools. Its members are eight regionally based incorporated associations, (ACT, NSW, NZ, Qld, SA, Tas, Vic and WA), known internally as Chapters, who in turn have a collective membership of over 1100 members. Each Chapter appoints two Directors to the Board of ASBA Ltd.

One of the great benefits of ASBA membership is the network of collegial support which is available to members. This website aims to keep members informed about upcoming events and developments and enables them to contact one another, share ideas and seek advice. The website also provides a forum for Chapters to communicate with their members and is a repository for key association information.

We encourage you to make the most of this valuable resource. Get involved with your local Chapter!

If you hold a senior business administrative role in a non-government school in Australia or New Zealand and are not already a member, please enquire about membership with your local Chapter. We would love to hear from you!

Finally, a reminder to all members to pre-register for the ASBA conference which will be held in Christchurch, New Zealand from 18 to 21 July 2011. By pre-registering, you can qualify for some amazing, lucky draw prizes.
